A bit about me
Hi, thanks for visiting my blog. I’m going to try and do a little bio below but if you have further questions please do get in touch!
I’m Carrie, an English Literature and Spanish graduate and a former primary school teacher, English Lead and private tutor.
End of 2020 – The start of Hookable Books
In 2020, I decided to be brave and left primary teaching, with no concrete plans. I still work in the education sector but I am no longer in the classroom. I’m based in the beautiful city of Bath!
In May 2020, I successfully Crowdfunded a project to send out free book boxes to schools. To help children talk about tricky topics like bereavement, to support their emotions and to read inspiring stories about confidence and resilience.
